Members of St Charles’ Grammar School, Osogbo, Old Boys’ Association (SCOBA) have appealed to the Osun State Government to repair the roof of a block of classrooms blown off by wind.
The old boys made the appeal while noting the decay in infrastructure in public schools in the state. SCOBA’s Global President, Charlean Peter Tade Adekunle, who made the appeal during the inauguration of a paved interlocking driveway in the school by the 69/73 set, said, “We were called that wind has blown off the roof of a block of classrooms in our alma mater. We told them to tell the state Ministry of Education since the government is the owner of the school, but the ministry said they should go back to their old boys to fix it.”

Adekunle, therefore, pleaded with the state government to return the school to its original owner and the old boys association to enable them maintain and run it efficiently.
