While Ocean Boys lost 0-1 away to Enyimba FC of Aba at the Aba Township Stadium, newly promoted Plateau United lost their first home match of the season 0-1 to visiting Dolphins of Port-Harcourt.

Speaking to Trustsports, the Media Co-ordinator of Ocean Boys, Mr. Eddy Ohis said his side is targeting nothing less than the three points at stake.

He said even though Ocean Boys lost 0-1 to Enyimba, the morale in the team’s camp is really high and there will be no hiding place for the visitors.

Ohis said the players have assured their teeming fans that they will not let them down.

“We lost our first match to Enyimba and that makes the match against Plateau United very important. We have to win because another defeat will send the wrong signals. Although we lost to Enyimba, the players gave a good account of themselves. Losing 0-1 to Enyimba at Aba Township Stadium is not an easy task.

“To achieve their target, Ocean Boys will be looking up to Eagles Team B star, Saka Ayo, former Bayesla United star, Michael Andrew and of course their safe hands, Femi Thomas.

On his part, Technical Adviser of Plateau United FC, Coach Bitrus Bewarang told Trustsports that he is confident of winning today because he has a good team.

He said for Dolphins goalkeeper to be voted the best goalkeeper of the week by the NPL meant that Plateau United boys kept him busy.

Bewarang therefore expressed confidence that with fair officiating, his side will come out with something positive from the match.

“I have a good team. We lost but that does not mean we did not play well. Our visitors’ goalkeeper was rated the best keeper for the week because it was fireworks for him.

“We are going for the three points and our opponents should not be deceived that because we lost at home, we would be a push over”.
