An Abuja magistrates’ court sitting in Zuba on Monday ordered for the report of the mental status of an ‘Obidient Movement’ supporter, Obiajulu Uja, who protested against the inauguration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This was even as the man kept demanding for drinks and food in the court’s premises shortly after the court’s sitting.

City & Crime reports that the man caused a stare at the Abuja airport when he made pronouncements insisting that Tinubu should not be sworn in.

At the resumed sitting on Monday, Magistrate Abdulaziz Ismail Muhammed ordered for the submission of the result of the mental status of the defendant before next sitting and adjourned to Tuesday, June 13.

The court earlier issued an order for a one-month medical observation of the accused who would be monitored in the Kuje Correctional Centre.

City & Crime further reports that there was disruption by the accused throughout Monday’s sitting, as he kept arguing with the magistrate.

He was later taken into a waiting van after drinking four bottles of water, two soft drinks and eating some food.
