He spoke at the matriculation ceremony for 4,133 students admitted for the 2014/2015 academic session in the university yesterday.
Zuru however said the decision had far reaching implications on the grading system because the minimum pass mark in the university would now be 45 percent (D-grade) meaning any mark below that is an automatic carry over.
