The Northern States Christians Elders Forum (NOSEF) has condemned the series of attacks on Southern Kaduna communities, calling on government to ensure equity, fairness and justice to all irrespective of tribe, religion and ethnicity.
The elders made the call on Tuesday when they donated relief materials to victims of attacks and killings in Southern Kaduna.
Items donated include 30 bags of 25kg rice, 15 bundles of roofing sheets and 48 bags of Maize among others.
Speaking while presenting the items to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Zone 3 at Kafanchan for onward distribution to the displaced victims, the National Chairman NOSEF, Pastor Olaiya Phillips described the attacks as unfortunate; urging all and sundry to seek the face of God through prayers to forestall future occurrence.
While commending the Federal and State governments and the security agencies for steps taken to prevent a re-occurrence of such inhuman attacks; he called on government to implore the same measure it adopted to checkmate activities of Boko
Haram in the North-East.
