Tsav, who was reacting to the recent controversy trailing Buhari’s fourth presidential aspiration, said in Makurdi that the love for money and position had shut the mouths of Nigerians when they ought to speak up.
He said some highly-placed corrupt individuals were not comfortable with Buhari because if he is allowed to head the country, the level of corruption would reduce drastically.
“The level of corruption will reduce, no persons or group of persons will own private jets to mock the ordinary people of this country. It is no wonder that everyone is afraid to talk in Nigeria. The love of money and position has compelled Nigerians to remain quiet except Obasanjo and Okorocha,” he said.
Tsav added that it is only Buhari who has the gut to rid the nation of its present rot given his antecedent of proven honesty in various positions he has held.
He urged those labeling Buhari as a religious extremist to have a rethink considering for instance the fact that his driver is a Christian.
“Buhari has no land or house in Abuja, Lagos or indeed any part of the world unlike others who steal in Nigeria to own houses in the major cities of the world,” he said.
