The National Facilitator of Youth Peace and Unity Movement of Nigeria, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that is organising the event, Dr Ogu Chukwuemeka who made this known at a press conference in Abuja, also said the football tournament would be grassroots-oriented.
He said: “The tournament will attract scholarship awards up to university level for very disciplined and outstanding youth players discovered during the tournament to motivate and empower them.”
Chukwuemeka who is also the Director, Youth Development Department, FCTA, explained that the NGO was strongly establishing its network and formations in all the 36 states of the federation and the FCT.
