The governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, on Friday joined President Muhammadu Buhari for juma’at prayer inside the State House mosque.
This is El-Rufai’s first time of visiting the Aso Rock Presidential Villa since President Buhari returned from a medical vacation in the United Kingdom on March 10.
El-Rufai had been represented by his deputy, Bala Bantex, at the National Economic Council meeting held on March 16 during which Buhari interacted with state governors.
The governor had, in a damning and blunt memo dated September 22, 2016 and addressed to the president, suggested a surgical operation on the entire gamut of the federal government so that the ruling All Progressives Congress would not leave the country worse than it met it.
