Former secretary of the defunct National Republican Convention (NRC), Alhaji Usman Alhaji said yesterday that President Muhammadu Buhari will not marginalise any part of the country as being speculated.
Alhaji, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, said Buhari selected members of his ‘kitchen cabinet’ in order to deliver the promises he made to Nigerians.
“When he was head of state, Buhari was fair and just to all and I know that he will not do otherwise now. In the last 16 years, appointments were made based on certain criteria rather than merit and delivery of qualitative services to the country. But now we are talking about merit.
“This is why I feel that those who are criticising the President so soon are hypocrites and mischief makers,” he said.
