Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) are currently quizzing Professor Olusola Oyewole the Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, FUNAAB alongside the University Bursar, Mr. Moses Illesanmi.
Daily Trust learnt that the duo are being quizzed at the Iyaganku, Ibadan office of the EFCC in respect of an alleged case of abuse of office and misappropriation of funds reported against the management of the University and some members of the Governing Council.
It was gathered that a petition by Concerned Stakeholders of the University, accused the Pro Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of “unbridled corruption and betrayal of public trusts.
According to an EFCC source, they are have made useful statements.
