Baba said the masses in the state have been happy with Jonathan’s nomination of the duo, and would try to appreciate the president by supporting his re-election bid in 2015.
The ex-scribe in a statement, said the emergence of the duo for the positions of ministers has created panic in the camp of Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso because he said the APC has seen that the President would score a huge political advantage by having them in his cabinet.
“Those of us who have remained consistent and loyal supporters and followers of the PDP under the leadership of Aminu Wali are already celebrating in earnest that Kano state will now move into proper political reckoning as we prepare for another general election” he said.
He explained that the two nominees have wide-ranging political supports from their individuals and collective capacities from the elders, youth and women across party line in the state.
“The president therefore has noticed the wisdom in their appointments into his cabinet, as they could be relied upon to draw developmental projects and attention to Kano state,” he said.
