The Founder of Ashmed Specialist Hospital Dr Audu Musa Idowu, has bagged an award for offering over 70 free medical services to less privileged in Kaduna state in 2019.

The award was conferred on him by Coalition of Civil Society Organisations.

The ‎ Convener of the coalition, Comrade Zubairu Mukhtar, while presenting the award to Dr Audu said the hospital despite being private was able to offer over 70 free health care services to patients.

“The award is presented to  you and this hospital after rigorous screening ranging from interviewing patients, physical assessment, community interview, online interview of members of the hospitals social media page .

“We appreciated you for all your kind gesture of helping the less privileged in the society,” he said.

In his remarks, Dr. Audu represented by his ‎wife  Mrs Musa Idowu  thanked the coalition for finding them worthy of the award.
