The group which is an umbrella platform for all support groups of the APC for the 2023 general election made this known Tuesday in Abuja when it made a courtesy call on the National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and members of the National Working Committee (NWC).

Speaking to journalists, its director of media and publicity, Butches Nwosu claimed that the body is the only support group still standing after the election, adding that it will play a big part in the inauguration come May 29.

“In the next coming weeks, we will roll out a series of powerful activities that will usher in the administration of Bola Tinubu as the next president of Nigeria,” he said.

Director General of AASG, Nasiru Ladan said the aim of the visit was to congratulate and celebrate with the party as well as press for adequate representation of the group at the presidential inauguration among others.

“We are here to pledge our complete loyalty and allegiance to the party, to say wherever you go, we go. In a nutshell, we came to present an award of excellence to the National Chairman and his team, and at the same time to make a small request to the party,” Ladan said.

The National Chairman of the APC called for patience and commitment to the party, saying that the incoming administration will ensure all members of the party who played vital roles in the campaign are carried along.

“This forthcoming administration will do everything possible to carry the spirit and the individual for the benefit of all. I urge you to be patient, there will be time for all. Each of us will benefit in different ways,” Adamu said.
