Linkage Assurance Plc has announced the appointment of Okanlawon Adelagun as its new Executive Director, Technical. The company’s Board of Directors at their recently-held meeting approved Adelagun’s appointment.
In a notification to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), the company stated that Adelagun’s appointment will take effect from January 7, 2019.
Adelagun’s appointment is subject to the approval of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and ratified by the company’s shareholders.
Until his appointment, Adelagun was the Principal Consultant, Okadel Consultant, a consultancy firm that offers independent advisory services to corporate institutions on operations, underwriting, business and product development. He had formerly served as Executive Director (Business Development), Union Assurance Plc, and Managing Director, IGI Insurance (Ghana) Limited.
Adelagun is a Sociology graduate of University of Ibadan. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance of both Nigeria and London.
Adelagun will be bringing his wealth of experience to rejuvenate the technical operations of the company.
