The 34 local governments of Katsina State did not participate at the state’s ongoing 19th trade fair, Daily Trust Business observed
A visit to the fair showed that all the LG pavilions were empty at their part of the fair ground.
However, their inability to participate, our reporter learnt may be as a result of bureaucracy and non-release of funds.
When contacted, the president of the chamber of commerce, Abdurrashid Banbedi, said the chamber was not unaware of the development and was working towards seeing to their participation before the fair rounded up.
He said, “by this week we hope to get the release to fix their pavilions so that they can come and showcase their potentialities.”
