The Etsu Nupe and chairman of Niger State traditional council, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar has appealed to the Federal government to release funds to the contractors handling the Lambata-Lapai-Agaie-Bida road.
The Etsu Nupe made the call in an interactive session with journalists at his palace yesterday in Bida.
He commended the Federal Government for fixing the road which he said had become a death trap and quite inaccessible for many years.
He also lauded the Niger State Government for contemplating the dualization of the Minna-Bida road.
The traditional ruler appealed to registered voters to collect their Permanent Voters Card in order to be able to vote in the coming elections.
