The 40km Ora/Agunjin road in Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state linked 27 communities.

While inspecting the project at the weekend, the commissioner said “the move is to complement Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq’s efforts in bringing dividends of democracy to the grassroots.”

She noted that the grading of the road will bring succour to the residents of the area and improve economic activities.

According to her, the grader will be there for 12 days to complete the grading work.

She thanked the Governor, traditional ruler, community leaders and other APC stalwarts in the council for supporting AbdulRazaq’s administration.

A resident of one of the communities in Sani-Koro, Kazeem Razaq, while appreciating the commissioner said they have never had the opportunity of having a graded/motorable road.

“Our fore fathers created the path with their bare foots. This is the first time in the history of the community, which is over a century years old, this is happening to us. I pray God bless our daughter and the Governor.

On her part, Iyaloja of Oraland, thanked the commissioner for her kind gestures and drive towards community development.
