He called on youths in the state to use their permanent voters card to vote out the PDP in next month’s election rather than resorting to violent acts.
Ambassador Kwande, who registered his displeasure in a press statement yesterday in Jos, said violence was not the answer to getting rid of the PDP but urged the youths to use their votes wisely.
He said: “Yes, we are aware of the fact that Nigerians are in a terrible situation; they are faced with a lot of hardship due to bad governance by the PDP, however, I am appealing to them to be patient.”
The elder statesman urged the youths to be peaceful and calm, adding that “the youths should be mindful of the fact that their votes are what they will use to vote the PDP out of leadership.”
Ambassador Kwande emphasised the importance of justice, calling on the security agencies in Jos to ensure justice is done to the arrested youths, stressing that “there should be proper investigation on the matter in order not to make innocent people suffer for punishment for a crime they did not commit.”
