Abdul Sule, who played for the Super Eagles under the tutelage of Dutchman Clemence Westerhof in the 90s, was appointed as the Technical Director to Kogi United FC by the Sole Administrator of the club, Mallam Abdul Adama.
The former defunct Stationary Stores and BCC Lions goal poacher, who spoke through the club’s media officer, Samuel Ahmadu, revealed that his appointment was secure the Premier League slot for the Kogi State-financed football club.
“It’s an opportunity for me to be part of Kogi United – I have garnered a lot of experience in football, most importantly while in Europe and look forward to bringing them to bear in helping to achieve the main target of getting to the Nigerian Premier League.”

Abdul Kana Sule, a Kogi State indigene played 10 games for Nigeria, scoring two goals in Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup matches from 1990 to 1993.
