In a statement,  the Public Relations Officer of the hospital, Alhaji Umar Alti Jibia, said the hospital is offering free consultancy to patients, including downward review of all its investigations, medicines and surgical procedures at affordable rates and has commenced since 1st to 13th December, 2014.
Over 25,000 people have benefited from such free consultation camp since its inception.
He said the decision to reduce its fees is part of its corporate social responsibility to open its services and state-of-the art equipment to Nigerian patients.
According to Jibia, the hospital would provide free consultation in the following areas; knee/hip/joints pain, spine & back pain, internal medicine & diabetes, B.P & HIV, cardiology, kidney & dialysis, ENT & deafness, eye, hemorrhoids & fistula, dental, artificial limb, hearing aid available etc.
It would be recalled that in the past, the hospital had conducted free camps at Wuse, Garki, Dei-Dei & Gudu Markets for traders and general public in conjunction with Health and Human Service Secretariat of the FCTA and also distributed free drugs to flood victims.
The PRO disclosed that over 7,000 patients benefited from such free consultations and other services in 2012.
