Kannywood singer, Suleiman Sukus, has released another military-themed music, titled “Buratai Don Land” in Kaduna State on Thursday.

The highly anticipated single eulogizes the Nigerian Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, and as usual, garnished with military slogans.

Sukus as popularly known, is good with military-themed music within the Hausa entertainment industry and this time, the music is in honour of Mr. Buratai, a Lieutenant General.

In his chat with Premium Times, he said, “As an ex-military man, I know what it means to applaud an officer or recognise his work. When you shower encomium on a soldier, only then is he able to stand firm and be on the alert in a time of crisis when his services are most needed. The morale of the Nigerian military needs to be boosted and that is what I set out to achieve with all my songs.”

Moreso, he dedicated the song to Nigerian soldiers who are fighting on the battlefield just to make ensure that we live in peace.

He added that “Buratai has proven to Nigerians that he is a real soldier. Working alongside his other colleagues in the Nigerian Army, the war against Boko Haram has been successful thus far.”

He revealed that his last album titled kick starter, which was released last two years, is currently in progress for a video song.

Sukus has enjoyed recognition and praises from the former head of state, Ibrahim Babangida, and retired General Tanko Ayuba among others.
