Addressing the press at their NLC state secretariat in kaduna, the state Chairman Mr. Ango Adamu said, all efforts to dialogue with the state government on the implementation has failed. “We wrote to the State government indicating our interest for dialogue and there was no response from the government, our position is very clear, we will only engage in dialogue for implementation and not negotiation,” he stressed.
According to him, all members are expected to comply with the directive and down tool in the state in compliance to the directive. He however advised workers to go about their activities peacefully pending another instruction from the national body. The 3-day warning strike is expected to commence Wednesday, the 20th, July 2011 and will last till Friday all things been equal.
