Ojerinde stated this in Gombe yesterday during the opening ceremony of the coordinators meeting for 2010.
He said that credible examinations will protect and guarantee the image and integrity of the board as it was done in the past.
“You remained our links to the examination officials; that is why you have to ensure that only credible people are appointed and briefed as to the current practices in the conduct of the examination,” he said.
Declaring the meeting open, the Gombe state Deputy Governor, Mr John Lazarus, called on the board, to take into cognizance, the educational imbalance among the six geo political zones in their new (UTME) policy and the quest to promote educational development of the nation.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the board before now, conducted two separate examinations, the Universities Matriculation Exams (UME) and the Monotechnics, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education Matriculation Examination (MPCEME)
