The Independent Power Plant (IPP) in Sokoto State will be test-ran in three months’ time.
Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) General Manager in charge of Connection to Power Plant, Dr Inugonum Tom, disclosed this while assessing the facilities installed at the IPP site located at Arkilla area in Wamakko local government area of the state.
He said that the plant was already completed but that there was need for additional unit. “What we have is one unit. It needs to be two so that when one is down the other will start,” he stated.
