Participants of the Federal Ministry of Finance Graduate Internship Scheme GIS nationwide has been urged to use the acquired entrepreneur skills for national development.
GIS Project Director, Peter Papka, made the remark at the three-day training on career development and entrepreneurship skills in partnership with Jos Business School to interns in Jos.
He said: “we believe that the skills and experience you have acquired through GIS have placed you in a position to contribute meaningfully to national development.”
Papka said that the scheme was one of the many success stories of government’s effort to reduce graduate unemployment.
In his remark, Chief Executive Officer of Jos Business School, Ezekiel Gomos urged the participants to utilize the investment of entrepreneurship skills impacted to them by the federal government to change their lives for the better.
He appealed to the interns to translate the acquired skills into reality by demonstrating courage and commitment in joining the business community and adding value to their lives and the country at large.
