The new President/Chairman of Council, Institute of Directors Nigeria, Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed, has pledged to work assiduously towards achieving the Institute’s vision and mandate through a complete overhaul and reform of existing structures and processes in the

Institute.

Mohammed, who is the 15th IoD President and Chairman of Governing Council, said this in his acceptance speech which he delivered during his swearing-in ceremony at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

A statement from the Institute’s head of corporate communication, Mr Segun Dipe, said the new president considered it a great honour to be elected among other eminent personalities to serve as its President  and Chairman of Council.

 “The IoD Nigeria is close to 40 years of establishment by men and women of vision and with the primary objective to instil best corporate governance practice on corporate Nigeria as it is being practised in more developed economies, he said, which largely accounted for their successes.
