Lugga said unless efforts are reinforced to wipe out corruption and indiscipline among Nigerians, the education sector and the country in general will remain in a state of decay.
“Political leaders squander the peoples’ money forgetting that there is an afterlife. The younger generation have become notorious and teachers themselves have changed. They do not instil discipline in pupils anymore. You go to our schools and you see good structures but what use is it if there are no good teachers. Education and discipline walk hand in hand and as long as our leaders fail to understand this, we will remain in trouble,” he said.
