Witnesses, who spoke to City News, said the accident happened around 11 p.m. last weekend, and that some of the occupants of the two vehicles survived with injures.
One of the witnesses, Mustafa Abdulhamid, a fruit seller around the area, said they were attending to their business across the express way, at Kubwa second gate when they saw the J5 bus, which was coming from the Dutsen Alhaji axis hit by the Toyota Camry car which was coming from behind it.
He said the two vehicles immediately went up in flames.
According to the witness, a team of fire service officials, who arrived the scene, tried to put out the fire but without success, saying the fire burnt the two vehicles with the goats, numbering about 50.
He, however, said some of the goats were rescued alive.
Officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in the area confirmed the incident but declined further comments.
