Danjuma said that his visit was to assess the impact of the support to the centres and witness the graduation of 1,000 women that had been trained in sowing, knitting, hair dressing, soap making.

The Emir of Gwabdu, Alhaji Muhammadu Bashar, commended the chairman of the foundation for spearheading the development and improvement of the economic status of women.

He called on other public spirited individuals and organisations to emulate the foundation by empowering women because they were the stronghold of the family for societal progress.
