Plateau United experienced goalkeeper, John Gaadi has charged his team to remain focused as he said they must not allow the present momentum to die down.

Plateau United have shot into the lead this term following their opening day away victory over newly promoted Remo Stars and their emphatic 3-1 win over Enyimba in their midweek encounter in Jos.

The former junior international said he was happy with the impressive performance of Plateau United but warned that all they have achieved so far will be blown away, if they do not remain focused.

He said it is too early for anyone to look at Plateau United as title favourites as he insisted that his former club Abia Warriors have also won two matches.

Gaddi whose career has taken him to at least eight top Nigeria Premier League clubs said Plateau United will keep working hard.

“We are all very happy with the results that have come our way so far. It is a good start for us but we are not going to take anything for granted.

“It is too early in the day for anyone to say we are favoured to win the title. Abia Warriors too have won two games but I don’t think they will feel they are title favourites.

“We want to keep working hard and take each game as it comes. We all know that the league is a marathon and only the team that keeps its focus will triumph in the end,” he said.
