Forte Oil PLC has launched a 1.5KVA solar power for medium income earners in the country with a one year warrantee and 25 years life span.

Speaking at the launch and signing of the pact with NEDCOM OAK in Lagos on Monday, Forte Oil chief executive officer, Akin Akinfeminwa said the N700,000 power solution is designed to be a reliable alternative source of electricity generation for customers.

“The FO solar offers uninterrupted cost effective power solutions to the medium income earners as they struggle daily with their generators. Our solar is mobile, very efficient. It made up of panel system, customized batteries,” he said.

Lagos state commissioner for Energy, Mr Wale Oluwo, said the launch coincidence with the Lagos state Assembly’s second reading of the state embedded power bill adding that when passed, the bill would make Lagos to generate 3,000MW.
