The Anambra State Government has promised to establishment fire service stations in major markets across the state to avert massive loss of property in case of emergencies.
The state governor, Willie Obiano, represented by his deputy, Dr. Nkem Okeke, disclosed this while commiserating with executives and traders of Nnewi Timber Market, Nnewi over the fire incident that wreaked havoc in the market on Wednesday.
The governor stressed the need for the traders in the various markets to imbibe the habit of securing insurance for themselves and their goods.
