A fire fighting truck has been deployed to the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) in Nasarawa State.
The fire truck was stationed in front of the INEC office situated along Kurikyo Road in GRA, Lafia.
The chief fire officer in the state, Dogara Dalhatu, told Daily Trust that he received a letter from the INEC requesting the truck with personnel to avoid any unforeseen circumstance.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Uthman Ajidagba, could not be reached for comment.
He had recently said he was disturbed by the private and commercial buildings surrounding the INEC office.
