The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting did not hold today
It was learnt that the FEC meeting was earlier scheduled to hold at 10.00am inside the Council Chambers of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja today but was postponed to next week.
There was no official information on why the meeting was postponed.
When contacted on telephone this afternoon, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said he would get back to our correspondent, but he is yet to do so.
Our correspondent reports that the president was in his office today; while Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was in Lokoja for the grand finale gubernatorial rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State.
The inaugural Federal Executive Council meeting in the life of President Buhari’s administration was held last Wednesday shortly after the swearing-in ceremony of the 36 new ministers.
