They told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the last-minute rush by customers boosted their sales and expanded their contacts.
NAN reports that 105 exhibitors took part in the three-day exhibition.
Mr Dennis Azapoglu, an Engineer at AXY Transformer, manufacturers of transformers said, “this is our first time in Nigeria.
“We came to look for partnership and customers, which we got at the fair.
“A lot of visitors are really interested and l feel it is due to the power situation in the country.”
Azapoglu said that the company would get more feedback, hoping that more people would make their orders “as soon as we return to Turkey”.
Mr John Ismail of Makrom Clothes said he came to the fair to meet his customers personally, adding “the deals are excellent”.
“I only came to Nigeria to meet customers one on one and to know the problems they are facing with my clothing line.
“Already, I have customers in Nigeria, but I came to create more awareness for my label,” Ismail said.
Mr Steve Mehmet, the Export Manager at Famy Soft, a converting firm, said that he intended to stay for more days after the fair because of the big market for his products in Nigeria.
Mr Matthew Serkan, Sales Engineer at Gold Computers, manufacturer of laptops, said that the fair was a platform for his company to introduce its products.
Serkan said that he was able to educate the people on the importance of advancement in technology and the need for visitors to patronise the products.
“I strongly believe that as soon as we get back to our country, there will be high level of response from the contacts we have made,” he said.
