An ex-militant in the oil-rich Niger Delta, Orinaemi Hart, of Bonny Kingdom, Rivers State, has raised alarm over threat to his life by an Amnesty Programme official and an aide to the immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan.

He told reporters today in Abuja that the official through one of his assistant, name withheld, threatened him on telephone to kill him for exposing the fraud and embezzlement his boss presided over during the second phase of the Amnesty Programme.

He said he was raising the alarm to save his life and to ensure that the new administration of President Muhammadu Buhari takes necessary actions for the success of the Amnesty Programme and block the loopholes being exploited by corruptible officials.

He said he had petitioned the relevant authorities that the former Presidential Adviser added names of ghost militants to the payment list and also short-changed several others from the amnesty programme that is meant to discourage the ex-militants from ever taking up arms against government and its facilities.
