A former chairman of Yorro LGA, Hon. Ishaya Dimas Dila, has been abducted along with 10 other people at Dila village and Kunini, on Sunday.
It was learnt that the former local govt chairman and two other persons were abducted at Dila village in Yorro LGA early Sunday morning.
Similarly, two persons were shot by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers at Kunini village in Lau LGA on Sunday.
Daily Trust gathered that the two persons were shot when they resisted attempt by kidnappers to abduct them.

It was further gathered that eight people were abducted by kidnappers at Kunini village on Sunday.
Findings show that in the last 10 days, more than 40 people were abducted in Dila, Pupule, Maraban Kunini and Kunini village in Lau and Yorro LGAs of the state.
The spokesman of Taraba police command, SP Usman Abdullahi, could not be reached for comment on the incident as his number was switched up when our reporter called him.
