A retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, Mr. Ambrose Aisabor, has blamed the pockets of violence recorded in last Saturday’s governorship election in Bayelsa and Kogi states on what he “called intelligence and preparations failure.”
Speaking with Daily Trust yesterday, Aisabor lamented that the “high level of violence” could not be managed as a result of security failure.
He said there was stockpiling of arms in the two states prior to the election which was not addressed.
