The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni has said a dreaded kidnapper, Timi, known in the underworld as Big Fish, was killed on Monday at Ishawo area of the state by members of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC ).
The police commissioner said: “We got a distress call that a group of armed robbers were operating and we sent some policemen there. Our men discovered that the local vigilante group there rose to the challenge. We found the dead body of the kingpin.”
The CP who paraded 24 suspects, said the command also arrested 10 teenagers between the ages of 12 and 16 for school gangsterism.
