A civil society group, Change for Africa, has said despite the battle by a generation of leaders for democratic rule in Nigeria, the politics of democracy is yet to deliver the fundamental dividends of a thriving democracy to Nigerians.
Speaking yesterday at a news conference in Abuja on the advocacy for good governance in Nigeria, the founder, Saheed Adelanwa, lamented that Nigerians had not yet enjoyed good governance and development.
Adelanwa urged Nigerians to rise up and demand for good governance by ensuring that they participate in the electoral process that will bring leaders who will deliver good governance and national development.
