In a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Center Captain Joshep Afolashade said the General Nwaogbo said the Centre has the competence to give the needed training to the Unit in preparation for induction into the mission in Mali.
“The Chief of Training noted that he was physically at the center to assess the training level of NIBATT 2 AFISMA and also to see their level of preparedness in order to report to the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt. Gen. OA Ihejirika.
The Commandant NAPKC, Maj Gen Salihu Uba who received the General, promised that despite some challenges affecting the Centre, the Battalion will be adequately trained to meet any contemporary challenges.
“He said the Centre has modified NIBATT 2 AFISMA training in a way that 99% per ecnt will be achieved at the end. He said that the Centre is on top of any challenges and will not leave any stone untouched,” he said.
