The Acting National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Yekini Nabena, has said that the defection of Senate President Bukola Saraki, governors Aminu Tambuwal, Sokoto; Abdulfatah Ahmed, Kwara; and Samuel Ortom, Benue will not affect the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
Nabena, who stated this during an interview with journalists at the weekend in Abuja, said the defectors lacked the political sagacity to affect the goodwill and support that President Buhari enjoyed at the grassroots.
He said the expected massive votes from the North-West and the South-West remained the game changer for the president in the 2019 presidential election.
