Cut 24 Productions is set to hit cinemas with a new movie titled ‘The Eve’. This is coming after their previous movie ‘Gidi Blues’, a film that was well received both locally and internationally.

Directed by the talented filmmaker and music video director, Tosin Igho and produced by Hauwa Allahbura, ‘The Eve’ is the story of a young man named Funsho who is about to marry his long-time girlfriend Yewande in 2 days. However, when he is mistaken as being still single by Alero, they both share something real. Eventually she discovers he is engaged and Yewande soon finds out. Funsho is left to face the consequences of his actions.

One of the actors, Kunle Remi, said there are series of moral lessons to be learnt from the movie. “It takes you on a journey. The plot is fantastic and the twists will leave you wanting more,” he said.

Nollywood actress, Meg Otanwa, who plays the role of Alero, said that working on the movie project is a once in a lifetime experience that she wouldn’t trade for anything. “When I got the script, I knew I wanted to take it and the whole experience has been amazing. I get to work with so many talented actresses and the Director makes me want to do this job for a life-time. The magic we are bringing with ‘The Eve’ movie has not been experienced before.”

Also, Adeolu Adeferasin, who plays the lead role as Funsho, said that the unique and beautifully written script sets the movie apart from the usual romantic comedies that Nollywood has seen.
