We must defend our unity, there under peace and justice shall reign. With unity Nigeria is a politically stable and economically viable nation; a real giant of Africa and a great force any country will reckon with. The current political context has offers us an opportunity for Nigeria to work again and better.
Beyond the shadow of doubt, the machinery that brought the day administration arouses opprobrium and adulation; violent opposition and enormous support. This paradox rallied Nigerians to quench their long thirst for change. The so acclaim change should be concertedly driven and shepherd by Nigerians that have Nigeria first in mind, bias free and have no room for sentiment or bigotry, people who have what it takes to move Nigeria forward, people with an unwavering belief in democracy and togetherness of Nigeria. These characters and good leadership qualities are indispensable component of actualizing this change.
Nigeria is North down to South encompassing East and West, however we should not allow our retroactions, actions or inactions to put the unity of Nigeria at jeopardy. Nigeria is far enough bless with human and material resources so we cannot afford to misuse them; no region or tribe or religion have the monopoly of these. Progress can only be attain as a whole if everyone feels involve and peace must be achieved if there justice and unity. All parts should be reasonably carried along and have the chance to contribute for a changed Nigeria, as the responsibilities of moving and making Nigeria work is for every Nigerian. Elements of nation building and restructuring should surfaced across the country and every Nigerian should experience it. With hard work and patience positive change is inevitable.
We must learn to allow our leaders to do it in their own best way to make a better Nigeria. The desire to make Nigeria great should be beyond any political disharmony or social difference, we must learn to bury them to have a changed, united and greater Nigeria… A Nigeria worthy of respect and capable of functioning as a vibrant and credible part of the international community.
