The immediate past commandant General (CG) of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) Dr. Ade Abulorin said he handed over a ‘vibrant’ corp to the new CG Abdullahi Muhammadu Gana.
“I am handing over a new vibrant articulate people to the new CG Abdullahi Muhammadu Gana. “
He made the remarks yesterday during the handover ceremony at the NSCDC Headquarters in Abuja.
Aside from the handing over notes, Dr. Ade added that he also handed over a 59000 personnel from the 9,000 he started with.
He described the new CG as a “worthy son and pride of the corps” while advising him to create an enabling environment for the people under him so that they can grow and develop their capacity.
CG Abdullahi assured Nigerians that he has the capacity to move the corps forward.
Abdullahi also received the flag of the corps to show that the mantle of leadership has been passed to him.
