Andreas Christensen has warned he may choose to leave Chelsea if Maurizio Sarri does not offer him more game time.
The 22-year-old made 40 appearances for the Blues last season under previous head coach Antonio Conte, establishing himself as a regular member of the Italian’s back-three.
Christensen also enjoyed consistent starts during the previous two seasons, when he spent time on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.
However, he is yet to play in the Premier League under Sarri – making just three appearances in total – and admits he may push for a move from Stamford Bridge.
He told Danish website bt.dk: “It has been a hard season. To be honest, it has been very difficult. I had a good season last year and I played a good World Cup.”
