According to Ndaman Dantala, a resident, the spate of robbery has been disturbing the community for some time now, expressing displeasure with the way and manner robbers have been terrifying their community.
Dantala said that the robbers, recently, vandalised the electric transformer in the community, making away with some cables.
He said the action made the residents to be without electricity before the authorities of the area council replaced the stolen cables.
Another resident, Nasiru Sarki, said the government should make provision for a police outpost as a lasting solution to the robbery menace.
He also expressed the residents’ grievances with the stench oozing from poultry farms in the area, saying that the residents have been exposed to health risks from the farms.
“There are always big flies that disturb us because of the wastes from the farm,” he added.
He urged government to force the poultry farmers out for the community to enjoy healthy living.
