The President of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) Samuel Kolawole has called on the Federal Government to be focused in delivery of all promises made to Nigerians.

Fielding questions from newsmen at ICSAN’s 26th investiture held yesterday, the president said, “There is urgent need to find alternative sources of income to run our economy but the fact is that there are vested interests all across board who would work against all odds not to make it happen.” 

He said the Federal Government must achieve best practices by being resolute.

“Our aim is to be an advocate of effective corporate governance and organise public lectures to educate Nigerians because effective corporate governance is essential to the economic and social development of our nation.”

The immediate past president of ICSAN, Professor Nat Ofo commended the new president for his commitment to taking ICSAN to higher levels.
