Kubwa police patrol team has arrested one Jerome Eza for attempting to steal a Honda Sports Utility Vehicle at a bank at phase 4, Kubwa.

“Eza then confessed to have been using the bunch of keys to steal cars in the past and that the SUV attracted him because he would have easily sold it.
He also confessed to have stolen a Honda Civic car from another bank and that the car was in Makurdi, at a car dealer’s stand,” the source said.
When contacted, the Kubwa Divisional Police Officer, Chief Superintendent Nurudeen Sabo, confirmed the arrest, saying that Jerome Eza was apprehended while trying to steal a car where it was parked at a bank in Kubwa.
He said the stolen Honda Civic has been recovered and that the case has been transferred to the FCT Criminal Investigation Department.
