The speakers of the Cross River and Akwa Ibom State Houses of Assembly, John Gaul Lebo and Onofiok Luke, respectively, have expressed happiness at the efforts by the federal government to fight corruption in the country.
Speaking at the 52nd birthday anniversary of a former president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria in Cross River State, Bishop Emmah Using, the two politicians said the effort and commitment by President Muhammadu Buhari had bolstered the image of the country amongst the comity of nations.
Luke, who was guest lecturer for the second year at the 3rd birthday event, spoke on the topic ‘Nigeria’s Anti-Corruption War and Economic Recovery: The Connect’.
